How I lost over 80 pounds

I’m sure we’ve all been there before, where you’ve said you are going to get serious about your health. I personally would say things like, “I’m going to start first thing Monday morning” or “I’ll wait until the first of the year”

However, several Mondays passed and to be honest several years too and I still had not accomplished or even started for that matter. I truly had to understand that no one could do the work for me. No matter how many trainers I hired, how many weight loss products I ordered, the different fitness challenges I joined etc.

 I had to do the work!

I’m going to tell you exactly what I did:

 

  1. First, I identified the issue which for me it was food. I like food and I would overeat. But you must know what it is you need to address and what’s holding you back. (ex.
  1. Secondly, I had to pray and ask God to curb my appetite because I couldn’t do it on my own. Gluttony is a real thing and God’s word mentions it in Philippians 3:19. Don’t let food have control over you.
