How to be Confident in Your Identity in Christ

With the world constantly changing around us, as a Christian Woman your duty is to still be obedient to the voice of God and follow the path that He has set before you. Society can try to make you feel as if you’re missing out if you allow the picture it paints to cloud your vision. But God has called you to be set apart and to follow the calling not the crowd.

I’ve been there before, where I tried to fit in and be everything that people wanted me to be, and I allowed them to tell me who they thought I was. At the end of the day, I still didn’t fit in, and I knew that there was something different about me. But it wasn’t until I developed a personal relationship with God and allowed Him to show me who I was in Him that I started to walk confidently in my Identity in Christ and so can you!

Below I’m going to explain 3 ways that will help you walk boldly in your Identity in Christ.

  1. Learn Who You Are in Christ through His word and speak His word over yourself and your life. Study what He says about you and repeat what He says about you. Drown out what everyone else says that does not align with what God’s word says. You have power over what/who you listen to, what you read and what you speak.

  1. Believe what God’s word says about you. “Speaking God’s word is great but believing God’s word makes the difference.” Your belief will have some action behind it and when you allow God’s word to be the solid foundation in your life it will produce confidence in your everyday life.

  1. Walk in Confidence. Be the light of the world that God says you are, be bold and courageous. Stand firm on who God says you are no matter what’s going on around you. Being confident is when God’s opinion about you is the only one that matters.

Key Takeaway: Your mind believes everything you feed it, make sure you feed it truth which is God’s word.
